Awaken The Senses – Where Luxury Meets Nature At Eikehof Luxury Guest Farm

Eikehof Farm scenes- HEYBOO

Set in the foothills of the Olifantsberg Mountain lies Eikehof Farm. The 220-year-old Heritage house and cottages sleep up to 14 guests in luxury. Named for the stately oak trees that have graced Eikehof for centuries. Eikehof may be just 12 km from Worcester, but it’s centuries away from the craziness of 21st-century life.

The farm makes for the idyllic Wineland’s wedding in a more intimate setting with a mix of Luxury and old-style farm comfort. Guests have exclusive access to the entire farm and can choose from a variety of stunning settings for the ceremony and reception from the forest crossed by a small stream, and open fields with mountain views to the manor house gardens on lush green lawns.

Worcester gets hot in summer and snows in winter but, as was the old way, the house is masterfully built with natural climate control. In winter, you’ll all be gathered around the open-hearth fireplace in the kitchen, or pulled up close to the fire in the lounge or games room. Winter in Worcester is particularly magical, surrounded by snow-dusted mountains and with the surrounding countryside verdant and alive. Locals say it’s the best time of year there, by far.

In all, there are seven enchanting old-world styled bedrooms, with large and luxurious bathrooms. There are king-sized beds throughout the homestead and cottages. The three bedrooms in the main house are all en-suite too. The Manor House also has a hot tub and braai area. Built from stone found on the property. The measurements of the fireplace are the same as the old hearth inside the eat-in kitchen. In the freshly renovated ‘old school house’ cottage are two bedrooms and a bathroom, there’s a second cottage with an en-suite bedroom and a kitchenette, and a third cottage with an en-suite bedroom, a kitchenette, and a hot tub.

The kids will love the interaction with the farm animals and the daily collection of fresh eggs. A vegetable garden hosts a wide variety, where you are welcome to pick whatever you need.

Enjoy a day trip to pick cherries in Ceres or see the snow. Various wine farms offer tastings with excellent restaurants nearby. Wake up early, cosy up with a mug of coffee on the front verandah and watch the sun rise from behind the mountains while listening to the bird songs and inhaling the fresh country air.

At Eikehof you will have time to put your feet up and unwind, in a luxurious environment while enjoying a relaxed farm lifestyle. Awakening all your senses.
