It’s important to stalk your “soon to be” influencers Instagram feed and actually get a feel of who their audience is (age, locations, demographic) and if their audience is actually interested in the content that they provide. Look for comments that could be showing a genuine interest. Eg: “OMG this face mask looks amazing, where can we purchase it?”
*Remember likes are superficial metrics and are not as NB compared to quality comments.

Lastly – always make sure that your potential influencer is NOT promoting everything and every brand! Make sure he/she has an authentic voice and promotes content that he/she truly resonates with. This ensures that you are working with someone that others “trust” as a thought-leader which will in return convert into real value.
