I was delighted to receive my skincare products from Bloom Essence to try out. The South African skincare brand makes vegan, clean and cruelty-free skincare products for all skin types.
The local skincare brand is about accepting and loving all skins types and tones. Its mission is to make individuals feel empowered in their skin and wear it with pride.
The brand states that “soul essence is “skin” and what we want is for it to “bloom” cause with us every skin is beautiful” This is powerful messaging behind the brand’s name.
The skincare brand products are hand made with love and use packages that are eco-friendly and recyclable. The brand has serums and clays amongst other amazing products on the Bloom Essence website. I was fortunate enough to try out 3 of their product ranges.

Vitamin C – Facial Serum
The Vitamin C face serum by Bloom Essence consists of hyaluronic acid and aloe vera juice. Both ingredients play an important role in the key benefits of the serum. This includes the improvement of glowing skin, skin regeneration and supports skins moisture barrier. I used the facial serum in the morning after I washed my face with my cleanser. The serum was easily absorbed and made my skin feel soft and fresh for the day.
Goldern Hour – Dew Drops
This Rosehip oil and tea tree oil-infused product become part of my night routine. The all-natural oil has a gentle smell. Other ingredients of the product include sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil. The product helps with hydration, it also reduces redness, enhances natural glow and seals in moisture. The skincare product has a light texture and leaves a natural, glow feels on the skin. The oil is lightweight and therefore quickly absorbs in the skin after rubbing it in for a few seconds. The oil also consists of rose petals in the bottle, leaving a long-lasting fragrance to the product

Creamy Matcha – Clay Mask
I was super excited to receive the clay mask. I have always read about the benefits of clay masks and could not wait to use the mask. The Creamy Matcha consists of french clay and safflower oil. The oil is full of antioxidants and acts as an anti-inflammatory. It is instructed to use 1-3 times a week. I used the mask as part of my self-care Sunday and it insistently made my face feel soft and radiant. All in all the mask brightens skins, fights free radical and boost skin regeneration.
